I forward New setelite view of the area with village Bharasar so easy to find the place . "It was BharaSAR - means LAKE  / Sarovar  suggesting a lake was there and later Maharao shri Bharmalji re-settled the Village so the village was called as new name BHARASAR. " (Old name can not be BHARASAR and can not be found - as DHOLAVIRA is new name of the Village Dholavira but old name may be Kotadi or Kotda of the DHOLAVIRA)

1) THIS IS HISTORY OF PRESENT VILLAGE BHARASAR only. Further deatiled history can be found from the Panchayat of the village or from Kutch Itihas Parishd of KUTCH. History of bharasar which is about 200 Years, BHARMALJI 2nd was during his time Named the village as BharaSAR - where SAR means Sarovar/LAKE  which is suggesting a lake was there and as Maharao shri Bharmalji re settled the Village so was called as new name BHARA SAR. (Old village foundation stones may underlying the present village) KING BARMALJI II was during 1814-1819 - see the deatils of generations of KUTCH Royal families

2) This is the OLD History of OLD HARAPAN DAM only  (Archaeological history of Harappan time +4000 years back) Original Haraappan dam was 1.5 kilometer south of VILLAGE BHARASAR. VILLAGE CHECK DAM is south of village and about 1.25 km south of Bharasar village towards the hilly area. and GMDC dam is further 1/2 KM south. The HARAPAN dam site is in between these two DAMS (Check dam and GMDC dam which is seen in the photo marked with marks)  actual overflow of the water from that dam was collected by a small reservoir near the old Bharasar (Harrappam time - 2000BC). THE KING BHARMALJI 2nd HAS NAMED the new established village on his name, AS BHARa SAR - means Sarovar  suggesting a lake was there and later Maharao shri Bharmalji re settled the Village so was called as new name BHARA SAR.

3)  This is the Geological History  ONLY of Hills of Bharasar and LANKI hills of KHATROD range of Hills of KUTCH. which is in +200 millions years (KHATROD hill range from East to West - ANJAR to KUKMA, Bhujodi GANGESHAWAR dome are of MADHAPAR, Tapakeshwari of Bhuj to LAnki area to Bharasar Hills). This is one of the Oldest area of Kutch having pre Jurasic fossils in hills of Khatrod range of Hills. we have found +190 mn years old fossils of Round AMONITES and Bullet Shaped BELEMNITS (sea creatures of that time)in this areas. which suggests that thata area of hills came out of the sea during that period of Time scale. And river of this area is one of the most ancient river KHARI RIVER BASIN of kutch. river drain rain water from this  are agoes to Zadko of Sukhp[ar and further to KHARI River of BHUJ to RUDRAMATA DAM and to Banni planes of the ran of Kutch.
